Treatment Approach
My approach combines specialist scar therapy, myofascial release, lymphatic techniques and LymphaTouch® technology to improve tissue mobility and support recovery.
Treatment is tailored to the individual and their scar. Alongside hands-on treatment, clients may receive guidance on self-massage, movement and recovery strategies to support longer-term outcomes.
Recovery is often about more than the scar itself. Surgery and injury can affect movement, confidence, comfort and everyday life. My aim is to provide skilled, compassionate support that addresses both the physical effects of scarring and the wider recovery process.
LymphaTouch®
LymphaTouch® is a specialist medical device that uses gentle negative pressure to support scar therapy, tissue mobility and lymphatic flow.
It can be particularly helpful following surgery, helping to soften and mobilise scar tissue, reduce swelling, improve movement and address areas of tightness or restriction.
Unlike traditional cupping techniques, LymphaTouch® uses precisely controlled pressure and is tailored to the needs of the individual and the area being treated.
Where appropriate, LymphaTouch® may be incorporated into Scar Therapy & Post-Surgical Recovery treatments at no additional cost.

When Should Scar Therapy Begin?
Early treatment is often beneficial, but it is never too late to begin.
Many people seek treatment within the first year following surgery, while others come with scars that are several years or even decades old. Both can benefit from treatment.
I also offer pre-surgery consultations, helping clients prepare for planned surgery and supporting recovery before treatment begins.
Scar Assessment & Rehabilitation
Vibrant Matter provides scar assessment, scar management and rehabilitation support for individuals recovering from surgery or injury.
Scar Therapy appointments are available as both 60-minute and 90-minute sessions. Longer appointments may be particularly beneficial for complex scars, multiple scar sites or more extensive post-surgical recovery work.
